Mark 15:39

Ketika kepala pasukan yang berdiri menghadap ke arah Yesus melihat bagaimana Yesus mengembuskan napas-Nya yang terakhir dia berkata Sungguh orang ini adalah Anak Allah

Mark 15:44

Pilatus terkejut mendengar bahwa Yesus sudah mati Dia memanggil kepala pasukan dan bertanya padanya apakah benar Yesus sudah mati

Ketika Pilatus tahu dari kepala pasukan bahwa Yesus sudah mati dia mengizinkan memberikan mayat itu kepada Yusuf
