Inilah salinan surat yang Raja Artahsasta berikan kepada Imam Ezra ahli kitab seorang yang menguasai perkara perintah dan ketetapan TUHAN bagi Israel

Dia juga memberikan kepadanya salinan surat raja yang dikeluarkan di Susan untuk membunuh mereka supaya diperlihatkan dan diberitahukan kepada Ester dan menyuruhnya menghadap raja untuk memohon dan meminta belas kasihan bagi bangsanya di hadapannya
