Leviticus 1:15

Imam harus membawa kurban itu ke mazbah dan memuntir kepala burung itu lalu membakarnya di atas mazbah dan darahnya harus dikucurkan di sisi mazbah

Dia harus membawanya kepada imam yang terlebih dahulu harus mempersembahkan persembahan penghapus dosa dan harus memuntir kepalanya dari pangkal lehernya tetapi tidak boleh sampai terputus
