Deuteronomy 15:22

Kamu boleh memakannya di kotamu Orang yang bersih dan orang najis dapat memakannya sama seperti peraturan tentang kijang dan rusa

Deuteronomy 16:11

Bersukacitalah di hadapan TUHAN Allahmu Kamu beserta anakmu laki-laki dan anakmu perempuan hambamu laki-laki dan hambamu perempuan dan orang Lewi yang tinggal di kotamu dan orang asing dan anak yatim dan janda di tempat yang telah dipilih oleh TUHAN Allahmu untuk menegakkan nama-Nya

Deuteronomy 17:2

Jika di tengah-tengahmu atau di suatu tempat di kotamu yang telah diberikan oleh TUHAN Allahmu seorang laki-laki atau perempuan melakukan yang jahat di mata TUHAN Allahmu dengan melanggar perjanjian-Nya

Jika ada perkara yang terlalu sulit bagimu untuk diputuskan misalnya bunuh-membunuh tuntut-menuntut luka-melukai yang menjadi inti permasalahan di kotamu maka kamu harus pergi ke tempat khusus yang dipilih TUHAN Allahmu

Mereka akan mengepungmu di setiap kotamu sampai benteng tembokmu yang tinggi dan yang kamu andalkan itu runtuh Kamu akan dikepung di setiap kotamu di negeri yang telah TUHAN Allahmu berikan kepadamu

Kepada salah seorang dari mereka dia tidak akan memberikan sedikit pun daging anak-anaknya yang sedang dimakannya sebab tidak tersisa apa-apa lagi padanya dalam kesesakan saat musuh menindasmu di seluruh kotamu
