2 Samuel 4:2

Anak Saul mempunyai dua orang kepala pasukan Yang satu bernama Baana dan yang kedua bernama Rekhab Mereka adalah anak Rimon dari Beerot keturunan Benyamin Sebab Beerot termasuk daerah Benyamin

2 Samuel 4:5

Anak-anak Rimon orang Beerot itu yaitu Rekhab dan Baana pergi dan pada waktu panas terik mereka sampai ke rumah Isyboset yang sedang berbaring di tempat tidurnya siang itu

Daud menjawab Rekhab dan Baana saudaranya anak-anak Rimon orang Beerot itu katanya Demi TUHAN yang hidup yang telah membebaskan jiwaku dari segala kesukaran

Keturunan Yonadab anak Rekhab telah melakukan perintah yang diberikan oleh nenek moyang mereka kepada mereka tetapi bangsa ini tidak mendengarkan Aku

beginilah firman TUHAN semesta alam Allah Israel Yonadab anak Rekhab tidak akan terputus orang untuk berdiri di hadapan-Ku selamanya
