Sesudah mengatakan demikian Yesus menunjukkan tangan dan lambung-Nya kepada mereka Para murid sangat bersukacita ketika mereka melihat Tuhan

Maka murid-murid yang lain memberi tahu dia Kami telah melihat Tuhan Namun Tomas berkata kepada mereka Kecuali aku melihat bekas paku pada tangan-Nya dan memasukkan jariku ke dalam bekas paku itu serta memasukkan tanganku ke dalam lambung-Nya aku tidak akan percaya
