Maka Ananias berangkat dan masuk ke rumah itu dan setelah meletakkan tangannya ke atas Saulus ia berkata Saudara Saulus Tuhan Yesus yang menampakkan diri kepadamu dalam perjalananmu kemari telah mengutusku supaya kamu dapat melihat lagi dan dipenuhi dengan Roh Kudus

Namun Barnabas menggandeng Saulus dan membawanya kepada para rasul lalu menceritakan kepada mereka bagaimana ia telah melihat Tuhan di dalam perjalanan dan bahwa Tuhan telah berbicara kepadanya serta bagaimana ia dengan berani telah berbicara dalam nama Yesus di Damsyik
