Sebab perkataan tentang salib adalah kebodohan bagi mereka yang sedang binasa tetapi bagi kita yang diselamatkan hal itu adalah kekuatan Allah

Karena dalam hikmat Allah dunia melalui hikmatnya tidak mengenal Allah maka Allah berkenan melalui kebodohan pemberitaan Injil untuk menyelamatkan yang memercayainya
