Karena sebelum orang-orang tertentu dari kalangan Yakobus datang Kefas sudah biasa makan bersama orang-orang bukan Yahudi Namun ketika mereka datang ia mulai undur dan memisahkan diri karena takut kepada kelompok orang yang bersunat
