Menurut Hukum Taurat hampir segala sesuatu harus disucikan dengan darah dan tanpa adanya penumpahan darah tidak akan ada pengampunan

Karena itu segala sesuatu yang melambangkan hal-hal surgawi sangat perlu disucikan dengan hal ini tetapi segala sesuatu yang di surga disucikan dengan kurban yang lebih baik
