Mereka melayani dengan nyanyian di depan Tenda Suci yaitu Tenda Pertemuan sampai Salomo mendirikan bait TUHAN di Yerusalem Mereka melakukan tugasnya sesuai dengan peraturan

Hizkia menetapkan kelompok para imam dan orang-orang Lewi kelompok demi kelompok masing-masing sesuai dengan tugasnya baik sebagai imam maupun sebagai orang Lewi Mereka harus mempersembahkan kurban bakaran dan kurban pendamaian menyelenggarakan ibadah mengucap syukur dan menyanyikan puji-pujian di pintu gerbang tenda TUHAN
