Orang Aram menyadari bahwa mereka telah dikalahkan oleh Israel Jadi mereka mengirim utusan-utusan dan memanggil keluar orang Aram di seberang Sungai Efrat Mereka dipimpin oleh Sofakh panglima tentara Hadadezer
