2 Chronicles 28:23

Dia mempersembahkan kurban kepada ilah orang Damsyik yang mengalahkannya Dia berkata Karena ilah raja-raja Aram membantu mereka aku akan mempersembahkan kurban kepada ilah-ilah itu supaya mereka membantuku Ilah-ilah itulah yang menjatuhkan dia dan seluruh Israel

AV: For he sacrificed <02076> (8799) unto the gods <0430> of Damascus <01834>, which smote <05221> (8688) him: and he said <0559> (8799), Because the gods <0430> of the kings <04428> of Syria <0758> help <05826> (8688) them, [therefore] will I sacrifice <02076> (8762) to them, that they may help <05826> (8799) me.
