Sesudah itu ketika Sanherib raja Asyur dan seluruh pasukannya sedang mengepung Lakhis dia mengutus para pegawainya ke Yerusalem menemui Hizkia raja Yehuda dan semua orang Yehuda yang ada di Yerusalem dengan pesan
