Namun Nekho mengirim utusan kepada Yosia dengan pesan Apa urusanmu denganku hai raja Yehuda Hari ini aku tidak datang untuk melawanmu tetapi melawan keluarga raja yang sedang kuperangi Allah memerintahkan aku supaya segera bertindak Berhentilah menentang Allah yang menyertai aku supaya Dia tidak menghancurkan engkau
