Kemudian pekerjaan pembangunan Bait Allah di Yerusalem terhenti dan pekerjaan itu terhenti sampai tahun kedua pemerintahan Darius raja Persia

Ezra 5:5

Namun mata Allah tertuju kepada para tua-tua orang Yahudi sehingga mereka tidak dapat menghentikan para pekerja hingga suatu laporan sampai kepada Darius dan surat balasan mengenai hal itu dikirim kembali

Ezra 5:7

Ezra 6:1

Ezra 6:12

Semoga Allah yang telah membuat nama-Nya berdiam di sana menghancurkan setiap raja dan bangsa yang mengulurkan tangannya untuk mengubah perintah ini atau menghancurkan Bait Allah yang ada di Yerusalem Aku Darius telah memberi perintah ini Laksanakanlah dengan teliti

Ezra 6:13

Kemudian Tatnai gubernur di daerah seberang Sungai Efrat beserta Syetar-Boznai dan rekan-rekannya melakukan dengan teliti apa yang diperintahkan Raja Darius

Daniel 5:31

Darius berkenan mengangkat seratus dua puluh orang wakil raja atas kerajaannya dan mereka semua akan ditempatkan di seluruh kerajaan

Daniel 6:9

Oleh sebab itu Raja Darius menandatangani surat perintah dan larangan itu

Daniel 6:25

Sesudah itu Raja Darius menulis surat kepada semua orang dari segala bangsa suku bangsa dan bahasa yang tinggal di seluruh bumi Kiranya bertambahlah kesejahteraanmu

Dan Daniel ini berhasil pada zaman pemerintahan Darius dan pada zaman pemerintahan Koresh orang Persia
