Ezra 7:6

Ezra datang dari Babel Dia adalah ahli kitab mahir dalam Hukum Musa yang diberikan oleh TUHAN Allah Israel Raja memberikan kepada Ezra semua permintaannya karena tangan TUHAN Allahnya menaungi dia

Nehemiah 8:1

Semua orang berkumpul menjadi satu di tanah lapang yang ada di depan Pintu Gerbang Air Mereka meminta Ezra ahli kitab itu untuk membawa kitab Taurat Musa yang telah TUHAN berikan kepada Israel

Pada hari kedua para kepala kaum keluarga seluruh rakyat para imam dan orang-orang Lewi berkumpul kepada Ezra ahli kitab itu untuk memahami perkataan dalam kitab Taurat itu
