Nehemiah 7:3

Aku berkata kepada mereka Jangan biarkan pintu-pintu gerbang Yerusalem dibuka sampai matahari bersinar terik Ketika mereka masih bertugas pintu-pintu harus ditutup dan dipalangi Tempatkanlah para penjaga dari penduduk Yerusalem di tempat-tempat penjagaan dan di depan rumahnya masing-masing

Nehemiah 13:19

Di pintu gerbang Yerusalem ketika hari mulai gelap sebelum hari Sabat tiba aku memerintahkan agar pintu gerbang ditutup dan melarang pintu gerbang itu dibuka sampai hari Sabat berlalu Aku menempatkan beberapa pelayanku di pintu gerbang agar tidak ada muatan yang dibawa masuk pada hari Sabat

Nahum 2:6

Pintu-pintu gerbang di sungai sudah dibuka dan istana menjadi gempar
