Nehemiah 13:19

Di pintu gerbang Yerusalem ketika hari mulai gelap sebelum hari Sabat tiba aku memerintahkan agar pintu gerbang ditutup dan melarang pintu gerbang itu dibuka sampai hari Sabat berlalu Aku menempatkan beberapa pelayanku di pintu gerbang agar tidak ada muatan yang dibawa masuk pada hari Sabat

Ezekiel 40:33

Kamar-kamar jaganya pilar-pilarnya dan serambi-serambinya menurut ukuran yang sama dengan yang lain Dan pintu gerbang dan serambi-serambinya memiliki jendela-jendela di sekelilingnya panjangnya lima puluh hasta dan lebarnya dua puluh lima hasta

Kemudian Dia membawaku kembali ke pintu gerbang sebelah luar Ruang Kudus yang menghadap ke timur dan pintu gerbang itu ditutup

Ezekiel 44:2

TUHAN berfirman kepadaku Pintu gerbang ini akan ditutup itu tidak akan dibuka dan tidak ada orang yang akan masuk melaluinya karena TUHAN Israel telah masuk melaluinya Karena itu pintu gerbang ini harus ditutup

Hanya pemimpin yang boleh duduk di pintu gerbang untuk makan roti di hadapan TUHAN Dia akan masuk melalui jalan serambi pintu gerbang dan akan keluar melalui jalan yang sama
