Namun ketika Ester datang menghadap raja dia memerintahkan melalui surat agar rencana jahat yang telah dibuat oleh Haman untuk orang-orang Yahudi harus dikembalikan ke atas kepalanya sehingga Haman dan anak-anak laki-lakinya harus digantung di tiang gantungan
