Exodus 3:8

Karena itu Aku telah turun untuk melepaskan mereka dari tangan orang Mesir dan untuk menuntun mereka keluar dari negeri itu menuju ke suatu negeri yang baik dan luas ke negeri yang berlimpah susu dan madu yaitu ke negeri orang Kanaan orang Het orang Amori orang Feris orang Hewi dan orang Yebus

Joshua 24:17

Sebab TUHAN Allah kita Dialah yang menuntun kita dan nenek moyang kita dari tanah Mesir dari rumah perbudakan yang melakukan tanda-tanda mukjizat yang besar di depan mata kita dan yang melindungi kita sepanjang jalan yang kita tempuh dan di antara semua bangsa yang kita lewati

Hal itu terjadi karena orang Israel berdosa kepada TUHAN Allah yang telah menuntun mereka keluar dari tanah Mesir dari kekuasaan Firaun raja Mesir Mereka berbakti kepada ilah-ilah yang lain
