TUHAN berkata kepadaku pada masa Raja Yosia Apakah kamu sudah melihat kemurtadan yang telah dilakukan Israel Ia naik ke setiap bukit yang tinggi dan di bawah setiap pohon hijau dan melacur di sana

Jeremiah 5:6

Karena itu seekor singa dari hutan akan membunuh mereka seekor serigala dari padang gurun akan menghancurkan mereka Seekor macan tutul sedang mengawasi kota-kota mereka setiap orang yang keluar dari sana akan dicabik-cabik karena dosa mereka banyak dan kemurtadan mereka sangat besar

Walaupun kejahatan-kejahatan kami bersaksi melawan kami ya TUHAN bertindaklah demi nama-Mu Sebab kemurtadan kami banyak kami telah berdosa terhadap Engkau

Hosea 14:4

Aku akan menyembuhkan kemurtadan mereka Aku akan mengasihi mereka dengan rela hati sebab kemarahan-Ku telah surut dari mereka
