Namun mereka tidak mau mendengarkan atau mencondongkan telinga mereka tetapi mengeraskan leher mereka sehingga mereka tidak mendengar atau menerima petunjuk

Jika mereka adalah nabi dan jika firman TUHAN ada pada mereka biarlah mereka memohon kepada TUHAN semesta alam sehingga bejana-bejana yang tertinggal di rumah TUHAN di istana Raja Yehuda dan di Yerusalem tidak diangkut ke Babel

Beginilah firman TUHAN Apabila kamu dapat melanggar perjanjian-Ku dengan siang dan Perjanjian-Ku dengan malam sehingga siang dan malam tidak akan datang pada waktu yang ditentukan
