Bangsa Israel makan manna selama empat puluh tahun sampai mereka tiba di tanah yang berpenghuni Mereka makan manna sampai mereka tiba di perbatasan tanah Kanaan

Dia akan menjadi seperti semak di padang gurun dan tidak akan melihat ketika kebaikan datang tetapi akan tinggal di tempat-tempat kering di padang belantara di tanah asin yang tidak berpenghuni
