Ezekiel 18:17

menahan tangannya dari orang miskin tidak menerima riba maupun keuntungan tetapi melakukan peraturan-peraturan-Ku dan berjalan menurut ketetapan-ketetapan-Ku dia tidak akan mati karena kesalahan ayahnya dia pasti akan hidup

AV: [That] hath taken off <07725> (8689) his hand <03027> from the poor <06041>, [that] hath not received <03947> (8804) usury <05392> nor increase <08636>, hath executed <06213> (8804) my judgments <04941>, hath walked <01980> (8804) in my statutes <02708>; he shall not die <04191> (8799) for the iniquity <05771> of his father <01>, he shall surely <02421> (8800) live <02421> (8799).

Akan tetapi jika orang jahat berbalik dari semua dosanya yang telah dia lakukan lalu melakukan semua ketetapan-Ku dan melakukan yang adil dan benar dia pasti akan hidup dia tidak akan mati

jika orang jahat itu mengembalikan gadaian mengembalikan apa yang telah dirampasnya dan berjalan dalam ketetapan-ketetapan kehidupan tanpa melakukan kejahatan dia pasti akan hidup dia tidak akan mati
