Anak manusia arahkanlah wajahmu ke selatan dan beritakanlah terhadap selatan dan bernubuatlah terhadap wilayah hutan di selatan

Kemudian dia pergi ke pintu gerbang yang menghadap ke timur menaiki anak tangganya dan mengukur ambang pintu gerbang itu satu tongkat lebarnya dan ambang pintu yang lain juga satu tongkat lebarnya

Sedangkan untuk pintu gerbang pelataran bagian luar yang menghadap ke utara dia mengukur panjang dan lebarnya

Jendela-jendelanya dan serambi-serambinya dan hiasan pohon-pohon palemnya memiliki ukuran yang sama seperti pintu gerbang yang menghadap ke timur Dan dengan menaiki tujuh anak tangga orang-orang bisa sampai ke sana dan serambi-serambinya ada di depan mereka

Kemudian dia memimpinku ke selatan dan lihat ada pintu gerbang yang menghadap ke selatan dan dia mengukur sisi pilar-pilarnya dan serambi-serambinya menurut ukuran yang sama dengan yang lain

Ezekiel 40:44

Di bagian luar pintu gerbang bagian dalam ada kamar-kamar untuk para penyanyi di pelataran dalam salah satunya ada di samping pintu gerbang utara dengan bagian depannya menghadap ke selatan dan lainnya pada sisi pintu gerbang selatan yang menghadap ke utara

Ezekiel 40:45

Dia berkata kepadaku Ini adalah kamar yang menghadap ke selatan yang dimaksudkan untuk imam-imam yang bertanggung jawab atas Bait Suci

dan kamar yang menghadap ke utara adalah untuk imam-imam yang bertanggung jawab atas mazbah Inilah keturunan Zadok dari antara keturunan Lewi yang mendekat kepada TUHAN untuk melayani-Nya

Sesuai dengan pintu-pintu masuk kamar-kamar yang menghadap ke selatan ada sebuah pintu masuk di ujung jalan jalan di depan tembok yang menghadap ke timur karena orang masuk ke dalamnya

Kemuliaan TUHAN datang ke dalam Bait Suci melalui pintu gerbang yang menghadap ke timur

Kemudian Dia membawaku kembali ke pintu gerbang sebelah luar Ruang Kudus yang menghadap ke timur dan pintu gerbang itu ditutup
