Ada beberapa orang Yahudi yang kepada mereka telah engkau berikan pemerintahan atas seluruh wilayah Babel yaitu Sadrakh Mesakh dan Abednego Orang-orang ini ya Raja tidak memedulikan perintahmu Mereka tidak mau memuja ilahmu atau memuja patung emas yang telah Tuanku dirikan

Daniel 3:18

Akan tetapi jika tidak ketahuilah Tuanku ya Raja bahwa kami tidak akan memuja ilahmu atau menyembah patung emas yang engkau dirikan

Daniel 3:28

Raja Nebukadnezar pun menanggapi dan berkata Terpujilah Allahnya Sadrakh Mesakh dan Abednego Dia telah mengirimkan malaikat-Nya dan melepaskan hamba-hamba-Nya yang menaruh percaya kepada-Nya dengan melanggar titah raja serta menyerahkan tubuhnya sehingga mereka tidak memuja ilah lain kecuali Allah mereka sendiri
