Aku Raja Nebukadnezar telah melihat mimpi ini Sekarang kamu Beltsazar beritahukanlah makna dari mimpi itu Sebab semua orang bijaksana dari kerajaanku tidak sanggup memberitahukan tafsirannya kepadaku Akan tetapi engkau sanggup sebab roh para ilah yang kudus ada padamu

Sesudah itu raja memberi perintah supaya Daniel dibawa dan dilemparkan ke liang singa Raja berbicara kepada Daniel katanya Allahmu yang kepada-Nya kamu menyembah dengan tekun Dialah yang akan melepaskanmu
