Amos 4:6

Sekalipun Aku berikan kepadamu gigi yang bersih di seluruh kotamu dan kekurangan roti di seluruh tempat tinggalmu tetapi itu pun tidak membuat kamu kembali kepada-Ku firman TUHAN

Aku mengirimkan penyakit sampar di antaramu seperti cara yang diterima orang Mesir Dengan pedang Aku membunuh pemuda-pemudamu bersama dengan kuda-kuda tawananmu Aku membuat bau busuk perkemahan tercium oleh hidungmu tetapi itu pun tidak membuat kamu kembali kepada-Ku firman TUHAN

Aku menjungkirbalikkan sebagian kamu seperti Allah menjungkirbalikkan Sodom dan Gomora Kamu seperti puntung terbakar yang diambil dari pembakaran tetapi itu pun tidak membuat kamu kembali kepada-Ku firman TUHAN
