Akan tetapi Yunus bersiap melarikan diri ke Tarsis untuk menjauhi TUHAN Ia pergi ke Yafo dan mendapati sebuah kapal yang akan berlayar ke Tarsis Ia membayar biaya perjalanannya lalu pergi bersama mereka ke Tarsis menjauhi hadirat TUHAN
