Sebab TUHAN berfirman kepada Musa Katakanlah kepada keturunan Israel Kamu adalah bangsa yang tegar tengkuk Jika Aku pergi ke tengah-tengah kamu Aku akan menghabisimu Sekarang tanggalkanlah perhiasan-perhiasanmu supaya Aku tahu yang harus Aku lakukan terhadapmu
