Genesis 1:29

Kemudian Allah berfirman Lihat Aku telah memberikan kepadamu segala tumbuhan yang menghasilkan biji yang ada di seluruh muka bumi dan segala pohon yang buahnya berbiji itulah yang akan menjadi makananmu

Untuk segala binatang di bumi dan untuk segala burung di langit dan untuk segala yang merayap di bumi yaitu segala sesuatu ada napas hidup di dalamnya Aku telah memberi segala tumbuhan hijau sebagai makanan Lalu jadilah demikian

Deuteronomy 29:23

Seluruh tanah itu hangus karena belerang dan garam sehingga tidak dapat ditanami dan tidak menghasilkan apa pun tidak ada satu pun tumbuhan sama seperti Sodom dan Gomora Adma dan Zeboim yang telah TUHAN jungkirkan dengan kemarahan dan murka-Nya
