Genesis 1:30

Untuk segala binatang di bumi dan untuk segala burung di langit dan untuk segala yang merayap di bumi yaitu segala sesuatu ada napas hidup di dalamnya Aku telah memberi segala tumbuhan hijau sebagai makanan Lalu jadilah demikian

Bawalah juga segala makanan yang dapat dimakan kumpulkanlah itu bagi dirimu dan itu akan menjadi makanan untukmu dan untuk mereka

Ezekiel 34:5

Mereka tercerai-berai karena tidak ada gembala dan mereka menjadi makanan bagi semua binatang karena tercerai-berai

Demi Aku yang hidup firman Tuhan ALLAH sesungguhnya karena kawanan-Ku telah menjadi mangsa kawanan-Ku bahkan telah menjadi makanan bagi semua binatang di ladang karena tidak ada gembala ataupun para gembala-Ku tidak mencari kawanan-Ku tetapi para gembala itu memberi makan diri mereka sendiri dan tidak memberi makan kawanan-Ku

Ezekiel 34:10

Beginilah firman Tuhan ALLAH Ketahuilah Aku menentang para gembala dan Aku akan menuntut kawanan-Ku dari mereka dan memerintahkan mereka untuk berhenti memberi makan kawanan itu Maka para gembala tidak akan lagi memberi makan diri mereka sendiri tetapi Aku akan menyelamatkan kawanan-Ku dari mulut mereka supaya kawanan-Ku tidak menjadi makanan bagi mereka

Ezekiel 35:12

Dengan demikian kamu akan mengetahui bahwa Aku TUHAN telah mendengar semua hujatmu yang telah kamu ucapkan terhadap gunung-gunung Israel dengan berkata Gunung-gunung itu dibiarkan menjadi sunyi mereka diserahkan kepada kita untuk menjadi makanan
