Judges 9:25

Pada saat itu Gaal anak Ebed bersama saudara-saudaranya datang dan pindah ke kota Sikhem Penduduk Sikhem pun percaya kepadanya

Gaal anak Ebed berkata Siapakah Abimelekh dan siapakah orang Sikhem sehingga kita harus melayaninya Bukankah dia anak Yerubaal dan Zebul wakilnya Layanilah orang-orang Hemor ayah Sikhem Mengapa kita harus melayaninya

Segala kejahatan orang-orang Sikhem pun dibalaskan Allah kepada kepala mereka sendiri sehingga kutuk Yotam anak Yerubaal menimpa mereka
