Numbers 5:27

Ketika imam telah menyuruh dia meminumnya maka akan tampak apabila dia telah menajiskan diri dan tidak setia kepada suaminya air yang mendatangkan kutuk itu akan masuk ke dalam tubuhnya dan menyebabkan rasa pahit perutnya akan membengkak dan pahanya menyusut dan wanita itu akan menjadi kutuk di antara bangsanya

Hal ini akan terjadi apabila dia mendengarkan kata-kata kutuk ini lalu memegahkan diri dan berkata Aku akan sejahtera meskipun aku berjalan menurut kedegilan hatiku Hal itu akan menyebabkan tanah yang berlimpah air menjadi kering

TUHAN tidak akan mengampuni orang seperti itu Namun TUHAN menyatakan murka dan cemburu-Nya akan melawan orang itu Setiap kutuk yang tertulis dalam kitab ini akan melekat padanya dan TUHAN akan menghapuskan namanya dari bawah langit
