Deuteronomy 1:15

Kemudian aku mengambil para kepala sukumu orang-orang yang bijaksana dan berpengalaman dan aku menetapkan mereka menjadi pemimpinmu yaitu pemimpin seribu orang pemimpin seratus orang pemimpin lima puluh orang pemimpin sepuluh orang juga sebagai pengatur bagi suku-sukumu

Deuteronomy 12:5

Namun kamu harus mencari tempat bagi TUHAN Allahmu di tengah-tengah sukumu untuk menegakkan nama-Nya dan pergilah ke sana

TUHAN akan memilih tempat salah satu di antara sukumu Kamu akan memberikan kurban bakaranmu dan segala hal yang kuperintahkan kepadamu
