Deuteronomy 4:19

Janganlah kamu memandang ke langit dan melihat baik matahari bulan bintang-bintang serta melihat semesta alam jangan menyembah dan melayaninya Semua itu diberikan TUHAN Allahmu kepada setiap bangsa di seluruh kolong langit ini

Deuteronomy 4:36

Dia membiarkan kamu mendengar suara-Nya agar Dia dapat mengajar kepadamu Di atas bumi Dia memperlihatkan api-Nya yang besar dan kamu mendengarkan perkataan-Nya dari tengah-tengah api itu

Biarlah Aku membinasakan mereka semua sehingga tidak seorang pun yang akan mengingat nama mereka Dan Aku akan membuat suatu bangsa yang lain darimu yang lebih kuat dan jumlahnya lebih besar daripada mereka
