Deuteronomy 28:51

Mereka akan memakan habis hasil ternakmu dan hasil tanahmu sampai kamu binasa mereka akan meninggalkanmu tanpa gandum air anggur minyak hasil sapimu atau anak dombamu sampai kamu dibinasakannya

Judges 9:15

Semak duri berkata kepada pohon-pohon itu Jika engkau sungguh-sungguh ingin mengurapi aku menjadi raja atas kamu berlindunglah di bawah naunganku Jika tidak biarlah api keluar dari semak duri dan memakan habis pohon-pohon aras di Lebanon

Isaiah 9:18

Kejahatan itu membakar seperti sebuah api yang memakan habis onak dan belukar berduri bahkan membakar semak di hutan dan membesar naik dalam gumpalan asap

Api telah keluar dari cabangnya dan telah memakan habis buahnya sehingga tidak ada cabang yang kuat padanya untuk dijadikan tongkat kerajaan Ini adalah sebuah ratapan dan telah menjadi sebuah ratapan

Inilah yang Tuhan ALLAH perlihatkan kepadaku lihatlah Tuhan ALLAH memanggil untuk memberikan penghukuman dengan api yang melahap habis samudra raya dan memakan habis tanah itu
