Deuteronomy 32:9

Karena bagian TUHAN adalah umat-Nya Yakub adalah bagian dari milik pusaka-Nya

Joshua 17:14

Keturunan Yusuf berkata kepada Yosua katanya Mengapa engkau memberikan kepada kami hanya satu undian dan satu bagian milik pusaka padahal kami bangsa yang besar karena TUHAN memberkati kami sampai sekarang

Milik pusaka keturunan Simeon diambil dari bagian keturunan Yehuda sebab bagian keturunan Yehuda terlalu besar bagi mereka Karena itulah keturunan Simeon menerima milik pusaka di tengah-tengah mereka
