Karena pohon anggur mereka berasal dari pohon anggur Sodom dan dari ladang-ladang Gomora Buah anggur mereka adalah buah anggur beracun tangkai-tangkainya pun pahit

Mengapa kita hanya duduk Berkumpullah bersama-sama marilah kita pergi ke kota-kota berbenteng dan binasa di sana Sebab TUHAN Allah kita telah menghukum kita dengan kebinasaan dan telah memberi kita air beracun untuk diminum karena kita telah berdosa terhadap TUHAN

Oleh sebab itu beginilah firman TUHAN semesta alam Allah Israel Sesungguhnya Aku akan memberi mereka yaitu bangsa ini makan dari tanaman pahit dan memberi mereka minum dari air beracun
