Joshua 5:6

Sebab orang Israel berjalan di padang belantara 40 tahun lamanya sampai seluruh bangsa itu habis mati yaitu prajurit yang keluar dari Mesir yang tidak patuh terhadap perkataan TUHAN TUHAN bersumpah kepada mereka bahwa mereka tidak akan melihat negeri yang TUHAN janjikan dengan bersumpah kepada nenek moyang mereka untuk memberikan kepada kita suatu negeri yang berlimpah-limpah susu dan madunya

Judges 20:13

Dan sekarang serahkanlah orang-orang itu yaitu orang-orang dursila di Gibea supaya kami menghukum mati mereka dan menghapus kejahatan itu dari antara Israel Akan tetapi orang-orang Benyamin tidak mau menerima dan mendengarkan perkataan saudara-saudaranya dari keturunan Israel itu

TUHAN berfirman kepada Samuel Dengarkanlah perkataan bangsa itu dalam hal apa pun yang mereka katakan kepadamu Sebab bukan kamu yang ditolak mereka melainkan mereka menolak Aku sebagai raja mereka

Sekarang dengarkanlah perkataan mereka Dengan sungguh-sungguh peringatkanlah dan beritahukanlah kepada mereka hak raja yang akan memerintah atas mereka

Namun bangsa itu menolak untuk mendengarkan perkataan Samuel Mereka berkata Tidak Seharusnya ada raja atas kami

Firman TUHAN kepada Samuel Dengarkanlah perkataan mereka dan angkatlah seorang raja atas mereka Lalu Samuel berkata kepada orang-orang Israel Masing-masing dari kamu pergilah ke kotanya

Saul mendengarkan perkataan Yonatan dan Saul bersumpah Demi TUHAN yang hidup dia tidak akan dibunuh

Isaiah 50:10

Siapakah di antaramu yang takut akan TUHAN yang menaati perkataan hamba-Nya yang berjalan dalam kegelapan dan tidak memiliki cahaya Biarlah dia percaya kepada nama TUHAN dan mengandalkan Allahnya
