Mereka menjawab kepada Yosua katanya Sebab telah diberitahukan dengan sungguh-sungguh kepada hamba-hambamu ini bahwa TUHAN Allahmu memerintahkan kepada Musa hamba-Nya untuk memberikan seluruh negeri kepadamu dan memusnahkan seluruh penduduk negeri ini dari hadapanmu Maka sangat takutlah jiwa kami terhadapmu Inilah maksud perbuatan kami
