Ketika daerah suku Dan sudah menjadi sempit untuk mereka suku Dan berjalan dan berperang melawan kota Lesem Mereka merebutnya mengalahkan penduduknya dengan mata pedang dan mendudukinya Lalu mereka menetap di kota Lesem dan menamai Lesem Dan menurut nama Dan nenek moyang mereka
