Yosua berkata kepada bangsa itu Kamu tidak sanggup melayani TUHAN sebab Allah itu kudus Ia Allah yang cemburu yang tidak akan mengampuni pelanggaran dan dosamu

TUHAN adalah Allah yang cemburu dan pembalas TUHAN itu pembalas dan penuh dengan murka TUHAN akan melakukan pembalasan kepada lawan-lawannya dan menyimpan murka untuk musuh-musuhnya
