Keturunan orang Keni ipar Musa itu maju dari Kota Pohon Kurma bersama keturunan Yehuda menuju ke padang belantara Yehuda di tanah Negeb di dekat Arad Mereka pindah dan tinggal dengan penduduk di sana

Ada seorang bernama Heber orang Keni yang memisahkan diri dari suku Keni yaitu keturunan Hobab ipar Musa Dia membentangkan tendanya sampai ke pohon Tarbantin di Zaanaim di dekat Kedesh
