Dengan segera dia memanggil orang muda pembawa senjatanya dan berkata Hunuskan pedangmu dan bunuhlah aku supaya jangan orang berkata tentang aku Seorang perempuan membunuhnya Kemudian bujangnya menikamnya sampai mati

Ketika orang itu bangun untuk pergi bersama gundik dan bujangnya mertuanya ayah perempuan muda itu berkata kepadanya Lihatlah sesungguhnya matahari telah turun dan hari telah petang Hendaknya kamu tinggal karena sekarang matahari telah terbenam Bertahanlah di sini dan biarlah hatimu gembira Besok bangunlah pagi-pagi lalu berjalanlah pulang ke rumahmu

Katanya lagi kepada bujangnya Marilah kita berjalan mendekati salah satu tempat di sana dan bermalam Gibea atau di Rama
