Judges 16:23

Lalu para raja orang Filistin berkumpul untuk mengadakan persembahan yang besar kepada Dagon ilah mereka sambil bersukacita Mereka berkata Ilah kita menyerahkan Simson musuh kita ke dalam tangan kita

AV: Then the lords <05633> of the Philistines <06430> gathered them together <0622> (8738) for to offer <02076> (8800) a great <01419> sacrifice <02077> unto Dagon <01712> their god <0430>, and to rejoice <08057>: for they said <0559> (8799), Our god <0430> hath delivered <05414> (8804) Samson <08123> our enemy <0341> (8802) into our hand <03027>.

Kemudian orang Filistin mengambil Tabut Allah itu membawanya masuk ke kuil Dagon dan menempatkannya di sisi Dagon

Kemudian orang Filistin mengambil Tabut Allah itu membawanya masuk ke kuil Dagon dan menempatkannya di sisi Dagon

Keesokan harinya ketika orang Asdod bangun pagi-pagi terlihatlah Dagon jatuh tertelungkup menghadap Tabut Allah Kemudian mereka mengambil Dagon dan mengembalikan ke tempatnya

And they took <03947> (8799) Dagon <01712>, and set <07725> (0) him in his place <04725> again <07725> (8686).

Keesokan harinya ketika orang Asdod bangun pagi-pagi terlihatlah Dagon jatuh tertelungkup menghadap Tabut Allah Kemudian mereka mengambil Dagon dan mengembalikan ke tempatnya

Keesokan paginya ketika mereka bangun pagi-pagi terlihatlah Dagon jatuh tertelungkup menghadap Tabut Allah Namun kepala Dagon dan kedua tangannya putus dan terpelanting ke ambang pintu Namun demikian badan Dagon itu masih tersisa di dekatnya

Ketika orang-orang Asdod melihat apa yang terjadi mereka berkata Tabut Allah Israel tidak boleh tinggal dengan kita sebab tangan-Nya melawan kita dan Dagon ilah kita dengan berat

1 Chronicles 10:10

Mereka meletakkan senjata Saul di kuil ilah mereka dan memakukan batu kepalanya di kuil Dagon
