Simson berkata kepada anak yang menuntun tangannya Lepaskanlah aku dan biarkan aku meraba-raba tiang-tiang yang menyangga gedung ini supaya aku bersandar di sana

Pada saat itu gedung penuh dengan laki-laki dan perempuan dan semua raja orang Filistin ada di sana Di atas atap rumah ada tiga ribu orang laki-laki dan perempuan yang menyaksikan lawakan Simson
