Aku memilih mereka dari seluruh suku Israel untuk menjadi imam bagi-Ku untuk mempersembahkan kurban di atas mazbah-Ku membakar ukupan dan memakai baju efod di hadapan-Ku Dan Aku telah menyerahkan segala kurban bakaran orang Israel kepada nenek moyangmu

Tiga kali dalam setahun Salomo mempersembahkan kurban kurban-kurban bakaran dan kurban-kurban perdamaian di atas mazbah yang dia bangun bagi TUHAN Dia membakar dupa di hadapan TUHAN Demikianlah dia menyelesaikan bait itu
