Perkataan Samuel sampai kepada seluruh bangsa Israel Orang Israel maju untuk berperang melawan orang Filistin Mereka berkemah di dekat Eben-Haezer sedangkan orang Filistin berkemah di Afek

Setelah orang Filistin merampas Tabut Allah mereka membawanya dari Eben-Haezer ke Asdod

Kemudian Samuel mengambil sebuah batu dan mendirikannya di antara Mizpa dan Yesana Dia menamai tempat itu Eben-Haezer katanya Sampai di sini TUHAN menolong kita
